Job Description:
The Cath Lab Technologist is responsible for scrubbing all cases tableside with the physician as the primary responsibility. They may also be asked to circulate cases, function as a circulator, and manage groin access. Competency in setting up sterile tables, scrubbing coronary angiogram/interventions, STEMI's, peripheral angiogram/intervention, thrombectomies, IR cases, and device implants is required.
Responsibilities:
- Scrub cases tableside with the physician
- Manage groin and radial access
- Circulate and function as a scrub tech
- Set up sterile tables for procedures
Requirements:
- Oregon License Required
- Rad Tech, RCIS, or ARRT (CI) or (CV) certification
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Experience with atherectomy devices, Impella, and IABP
- Competence with MCKesson/GE equipment
- Radiation Badge Required
