RN (Registered Nurse), ICU
City/State: Council Bluffs, Iowa
Shift: 12 Hour Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Description:
The ICU RN will provide care for patients in the Intensive Care Unit, managing critical care needs with a focus on medical ICU diagnoses such as sepsis, respiratory failure, stroke, and MI. Nurses should have experience in drips, vents, and bipaps, with required competencies in titrating vasopressors and sedatives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage critical care patients with 2:1 nurse-patient ratios.
- Titrate drips including vasopressors and sedation.
- Collaborate with hospitalists and intensivists in a medical ICU setting.
Requirements:
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required; PALS & TNCC preferred.
- ICU experience with skills in drips, vents, and bipaps.
- Preferred minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and previous travel experience.
