Job Description:

We are seeking an RN for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) responsible for the care of patients with a variety of complex medical conditions including sepsis, STEMI, CHF, chest pain, and more. The nurse will be expected to titrate drips and manage patients of various ages.

Responsibilities:

• Titrate medications such as Heparin, Amiodarone, and Nitroglycerin.
• Manage nurse:patient ratios of 1:4-5.
• Read and interpret monitor strips for patient assessments.
• Float to MedSurg, Inpatient Rehab, or Skilled Care as needed.

Requirements:

• ACLS, BLS Certification, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Pass/Fail exam during orientation with a minimum score of 90%.
• Fingernail policy compliance - artificial nails prohibited.
