Description
Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse), PCU
City/State: Grand Island, Nebraska
Shift: 12 hr nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00

Job Description:
We are seeking an RN for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) responsible for the care of patients with a variety of complex medical conditions including sepsis, STEMI, CHF, chest pain, and more. The nurse will be expected to titrate drips and manage patients of various ages.
Responsibilities:
- Titrate medications such as Heparin, Amiodarone, and Nitroglycerin.
- Manage nurse:patient ratios of 1:4-5.
- Read and interpret monitor strips for patient assessments.
- Float to MedSurg, Inpatient Rehab, or Skilled Care as needed.
Requirements:
- ACLS, BLS Certification, and NIHSS certifications required.
- Pass/Fail exam during orientation with a minimum score of 90%.
- Fingernail policy compliance - artificial nails prohibited.
