Description
Job Title: Mammography Technologist
City/State: Roseville, California
Shift: 8 hr days, M-F, 8:30a-5:00p
Contract Length: 26 weeks
Start Date: 06/01/2026
Job Description:
The Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing mammograms and related diagnostic procedures in an outpatient clinic setting.
Requirements:
- Required Certs - BLS, ARRT(M)
- High School Graduate or GED equivalent required.
- Medical Radiographer: CA (MRAD:CA) required.
- Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR) required.
- Satisfactory completion of a formal AMA school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent to an AMA Technologic program required.
- Completion of 40 hours of structured education in Mammography required.
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR) preferred.
- One (1) year experience as a Radiologic/Mammography Technologist preferred.
- Six (6) months experience in an outpatient environment preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills are essential required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy and physiology for imaging, proper operation of and care of radiology diagnostic equipment, and radiation safety required.
- Medical terminology and familiarity with an electronic practice management system and PACS required.
