Job Title

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Description:

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for the assessment and management of patients with respiratory distress, airway issues, and ventilator dependency, handling patients of all ages.

Responsibilities:

Perform airway assessment and management.
Conduct blood gas assessment, drawing, and analysis.
Respond to emergencies, including rapid response and code blue.
Manage intubation and extubation, and ventilator management.
Set up and disassemble respiratory equipment effectively.
Coordinate with the stat RN and house supervisor to prioritize patient care.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience, with at least 1 year in PEDS/PICU.
Acceptance of first-time travelers.
Licenses/Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT; WA state license.
Proficiency with Epic EMR system.
Weekend rotation required, every other weekend.
