Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Description:
The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for the assessment and management of patients with respiratory distress, airway issues, and ventilator dependency, handling patients of all ages.
Responsibilities:
- Perform airway assessment and management.
- Conduct blood gas assessment, drawing, and analysis.
- Respond to emergencies, including rapid response and code blue.
- Manage intubation and extubation, and ventilator management.
- Set up and disassemble respiratory equipment effectively.
- Coordinate with the stat RN and house supervisor to prioritize patient care.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience, with at least 1 year in PEDS/PICU.
- Acceptance of first-time travelers.
- Licenses/Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT; WA state license.
- Proficiency with Epic EMR system.
- Weekend rotation required, every other weekend.
