Job Description:

Registered Nurse needed for Emergency Room with experience in Trauma Level 1 settings. Candidate must float between designated facilities as needed and adhere to specific requirements, including dress code and competency evaluations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care to patients with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Complete SIMs Lab and demonstrate competency in Foley catheter insertion and sterile field maintenance
• Participate in lifts, restraints, and wound care education
• Response to trauma, burns, and pediatric cases, ensuring appropriate transfers when necessary
• Utilize Cerner for patient charting and care documentation

Requirements:

• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum of 6 months of Trauma Level 1 experience
• Completion of DYS exam prior to accepting position
• BSN preferred, but not required
• Ability to float between multiple facilities and handle shift changes as needed
• Must have natural hair color and no facial piercings; males must be clean-shaven for fit test
