Mammo Tech - Radiology

Job Description:
The Mammo Tech is responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic radiology and breast imaging procedures in an ambulatory center. This role includes screenings and biopsies, requiring proficiency in mammography positioning, equipment use, and technical settings.
Responsibilities:
- Produce quality diagnostic studies and ensure accurate data entry on history sheets.
- Deliver quality patient care, including screenings and diagnostics.
- Perform wire localizations and stereotactic biopsies.
- Work effectively with all age groups, adapting to each group's specific needs related to radiology exams.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of Mammo specific experience.
- ARRT (RT)(M) certification, BLS, proof of meeting MQSA requirements, WA State license.
- Proficiency in mammography positioning, technical settings, and equipment use.
- Soft skills include the ability to work solo on Saturdays and effective communication with different age groups.
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
