Job Description:
The Travel RN in the Emergency Room will provide patient care and perform assessments, prioritization, and intervention in both high acuity and low resource settings within the Brownsville FSED.
Responsibilities:
- Phlebotomy
- ED nursing care across all TRIAGE levels
- Airway management / Intubation support
- Splinting / immobilization
- Moderate sedation monitoring and recovery
- Wound care / laceration repair assistance
- Cardiac monitoring, code response and resuscitation support
Requirements:
- Strong ED clinical judgment and critical thinking
- Ability to work independently and within a small high functioning team
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications
