Job Description:

This position requires a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room unit, responsible for providing direct patient care in a small facility environment with no trauma experience needed. The role involves floating to Litchfield FSED and Glendale FSED, maintaining sterile field competencies, and performing functions such as SIMs Lab, lifts, restraints, and wound care. The position also emphasizes positive culture and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a 12-bed emergency room with a 1:4 nurse-patient ratio.
• Perform Foley catheter insertion and SIMs lab responsibilities.
• Maintain records using the Cerner charting system.
• Conduct all labs, EKGs, PT, and transfers for patients.
• Participate in 2 days of floor-specific orientation.

Requirements:

• Hold current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
• Pass the DYS exam with two attempts available prior to acceptance.
• Submit a valid nursing license.
• Adhere to dress code: Navy scrubs, natural hair color, no facial piercings.
• Men must be clean-shaven for fit testing.
