Job Title: Registered Nurse - ER
City/State: Rapid City, South Dakota
Shift: 12 Hour Variable
Contract Length: 96 weeks

Job Description:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse responsible for providing care to neonates through geriatric patients, including trauma, stroke, and cardiac patients. This role demands critical thinking, prioritization of care, and experience with all levels of patient acuity in a fast-paced Level 2 trauma center environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for trauma, critical, and cardiac patients in a busy ER setting.
- Perform ESI assessments during triage and prioritize patient care efficiently.
- Participate in the collection of evidence for Sexual Assault cases, ensuring adherence to protocols.
- Collaborate with permanent staff and use available resources to manage cases effectively.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of Emergency Department experience, excluding travel experience.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and PALS.
- Graduation from an approved nursing education program.
- Experience with EPIC charting system recommended.
