Job Description:

Seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join the Rehabilitation Unit. The candidate will be responsible for managing a full caseload of 10-12 patients, conducting evaluations and treatments for speech and language disorders, and performing dysphagia treatments. Proficiency with MBS/fluoro is required, and documentation will be completed using Meditech.

Responsibilities:

• Perform swallow evaluations post-extubation and for protocols such as stroke, pneumonia, and AMS.
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and treatments.
• Administer dysphagia treatments and perform MBS efficiently.

Requirements:

• Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Florida Speech Language Pathology License (Provisional Licenses not accepted)
• CCC-SLP
• Experience working with adult/geriatric populations in acute care settings
