Description

Job Title: RN - Labor and Delivery

City/State: Bozeman, Montana

Shift: Variable Shift, 4x10 Flex, 07:00:00-17:00:00

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Start Date: 07/06/2026

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse works in a collaborative and cooperative relationship with other members of the healthcare team, plans and implements patient and family education, and is responsible for assessing the needs and initiating appropriate interventions for patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to circulate.
  • Must be willing to float to Mother Baby and take couplets.
  • Must be willing to float to other units as a safety companion.

Requirements:

  • Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program Provider (recertification required every 2 years)
  • Electronic Fetal Monitoring Series Certificate of Completion (or equivalent AWHONN approved course) (recertification required every 2 years)
  • American Heart Association ACLS (Not required if a Lactation RN)
  • Competence in and a willingness and ability to practice modified primary nursing
  • Two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education
  • Preferable: One year of labor and delivery experience
