Job Description:

The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed caregivers who ensure that patients, families, and significant others receive individualized high-quality, safe patient care. They practice in a clinical environment administered by Nurse Managers and other leaders, supported through the Wellstar Shared Governance Model. RN competencies are derived from this framework and supported by the Wellstar Values. It is expected that all RN Clinical Nurses are licensed, knowledgeable, and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and implement the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards set forth by the American Nurses Association.

Charge Nurse are helpful. Great school benefits.

Cons

Not organized, DON of unit not compassionate. Sometimes they don't have a Charge Nurse on day shift. They automatically send new patients to the unit with no report given! The nurse assignments is not based on acuity. Etc
