Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit is responsible for providing direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the ICU. This role requires strong skills in critical care and EPIC charting.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in a 36-bed ICU, including neuro, cardiac, and medical surgical ICU units.
Manage nurse to patient ratios of 1:2 or 2-3, depending on acuity.
Float as needed within the ICU.

Requirements:

Illinois RN License, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
Minimum of 2 years of strong ICU experience
Experience with EPIC charting
