Job Description:

The RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab is responsible for providing specialized care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures. The role involves assisting in cardiac invasive procedures excluding structural heart, handling emergency situations, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in all cardiac invasive procedures and peripheral procedures like carotid, A/V grafts, EVAR, and peripheral diagnostics and interventions.
• Ensure proper documentation and usage of the Cerner EMR system.
• Manage call requirements, including weekends and holidays, with a response time of 30 minutes.

Requirements:

• Current RN license with a minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; NIHSS certification preferred.
• Ability to complete the DYS exam through Relias within 24-48 hours prior to contract signing.
