Job Description:

An Occupational Therapist responsible for meeting patient goals and needs by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results, determining treatment plans, and implementing various rehabilitative programs to help patients develop or regain physical or mental functioning.

Responsibilities:

• Implement programs involving manual arts, crafts, and daily living activities.
• Prepare patients for return to employment by consulting with employers.
• Evaluate results and recommend modifications as necessary.
• Complete discharge planning and assure continuation of therapeutic plans.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment.
• Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance.

Requirements:

• Possession of an Occupational Therapy License issued by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.
• Valid registration certification with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Previous experience preferred.
• BLS required.
• Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis and rehabilitation.
