Job Description:
Registered Nurse responsible for providing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including critical patient assessment, drug administration, and supporting complex procedures. The role requires proficiency in coronary, structural heart, and peripheral cases.
Responsibilities:
- Perform critical patient assessment.
- Administer Vasoactive and Sedation drugs.
- Maintain sterile technique and manage airways.
- Conduct Laser and Lithotripsy Atherectomy.
- Utilize devices such as IABP, Impella, Rotoblator, and Penumbra.
Requirements:
- 2 years minimum experience with coronary, structural heart, complex PCI, and peripheral cases.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Completion of a nursing education program approved by the board of nursing.
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system; Epic Cupid preferred.
