Description
Job Title
RN (Registered Nurse), PCU
City/State: Omaha, Nebraska
Shift: 12H Days, Days, 07:00:00-19:00:00
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Start Date: 06/08/2026
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for patients requiring intermediate care and downgraded CVICU patients.
- Support the thoracic program, EP, cath lab, and structural heart.
- Manage patients with common diagnoses like CVAs, CHF, A fib RVR, and other cardiac-related conditions.
- Titrate drips such as Amio, nitro, nicardipine, epi, cardizem, and others for blood pressure management.
- Read and interpret telemetry strips and troubleshoot equipment like BiPAP, CPAP, to Nasal Cannula.
- Float to all same level and lower levels of acuity as needed.
Requirements:
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- 1 year of experience with the patient population
- Driver's license required at submittal
- Adherence to fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited
- Pass/Fail exam during orientation, with a minimum score of 90% required to pass
