Description

Job Title: Travel- Speech Language Pathologist

City/State: Walterboro, South Carolina

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 8 Hour Days

Contract Length: 91 weeks

Job Description:

The Speech Language Pathologist will float between the inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) and the acute hospital floor to provide therapy services. The role includes evaluation and treatment of patients with communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities:

Provide speech-language pathology services to patients in the rehabilitation unit and acute care setting.
Perform assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Utilize FEES and other relevant equipment and techniques in therapy sessions.
Document patient progress accurately using the Meditech documentation system.

Requirements:

Current BLS certification.
CCC-SLP accreditation.
Experience with MBSS.
Experience in an acute hospital setting.
FEES certification preferred.
