Job Description:
Registered Nurse needed for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with a focus on cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and diabetic patients. The role involves titrating drips and providing care for adults and geriatrics.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care to adults and geriatric patients with cardiac, nephrology, and stroke conditions.
- Titrate and administer medications such as Cardizem and betablockers.
- Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as required.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements:
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
- Pass/Fail skills exam with a 90% passing score required during orientation.
- No artificial nails; adherence to fingernail policy is mandatory.
- Valid driver's license is required at submission to verify residency distance.
