Job Description:

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will work primarily with adult inpatients and a few pediatric patients in the emergency department. The role includes drawing arterial blood gases, setting up bipap and ventilators, providing nebulizer treatments, and assisting with intubation.

Responsibilities:

• Draw ABGs and set up bipap and ventilators.
• Perform nebulizer treatments and assist with intubation.
• Provide standby for conscious sedation and cardioversion.

Requirements:

• WA RT License required.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required. Either RRT or CRT credentials accepted.
• Must have ventilator skills and NICU experience, competent in caring for bubble CPAP at 32 weeks and up.
