Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit provides critical care to patients with severe or life-threatening illnesses and injuries. Responsibilities include managing patient care, administering medications, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to provide effective treatment.

Responsibilities:

Provide high-level critical care for patients in the Intensive Care Unit
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient's vital signs and conditions
Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care delivery
Document patient information and updates accurately

Requirements:

2+ years of strong ICU experience, specifically Neuro and Stroke
Experience with EPIC Charting
Passed EKG test required at submission
Current IL License, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certification
Flexible to float to other units and facilities
Must work every other weekend and as needed on holidays
