Job Title

Certified Surgical Tech Operating Room, Allied, CST

City/State: Evanston, Illinois

Shift: 8h Day, 08:00:00-16:00:00, 7a-3:30pm or 7a-5:30pm (with a rotating day off) Mon - Fri

Contract Length: 8 weeks

Start Date: 06/01/2026

Job Description:

Certified Surgical Tech will provide clinical support in the Operating Room. This role requires expertise in various surgical procedures and familiarity with aseptic technique.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environment
Assist surgeons during surgical procedures
Count sponges, needles, and instruments with the circulating nurse
Ensure proper care and maintenance of surgical instruments
Collaborate with surgical team for efficient patient care
Care for and manage specimens collected during procedures

Requirements:

Epic experience preferred
2+ years of surgical tech experience
1 previous travel contract
Plastics, general, ortho, ENT, neuro experience preferred but not required
NBSTSA certification required
BLS certification required
