Description
Job Title: Surgical Tech, Allied, CST
City/State: Sacramento, California
Shift: 10hr day shift - Varied (10:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Overnight call once a week, Cover 3 weekend days a month)
Contract Length: 10 weeks

Job Description:
The Surgical Tech is responsible for providing surgical support in a fast-paced OR environment, specializing in cardiovascular operating rooms (CVOR). Candidates must possess strong CVOR experience and demonstrate confidence in their skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in surgical procedures in the cardiovascular operating room.
- Work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure a sterile and efficient surgical area.
- Participate in patient care, including reading and interpreting EKG strips as required.
- Take overnight call once a week and cover three weekend days a month.
Requirements:
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification via NBSTSA required.
- Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience.
- NIHSS certification.
