RN (Registered Nurse), NICU
City/State: Lincoln, Nebraska
Shift: 12H Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00, every other weekend
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) for the NICU will provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients. The role requires nurses to work well with the neonatal population and support the medical team in a comprehensive, high-risk environment. This position involves floating to Mother-Baby or L&D units when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for neonates in a Level III NICU setting.
- Float to Mother-Baby or L&D to care for newborns as needed.
- Ensure compliance with AWHONN/NANN guidelines for patient care.
- Work independently, effectively communicate, and demonstrate critical thinking skills.
Requirements:
- Three years of NICU experience required.
- Experience with ventilators and central lines.
- BLS and NRP certifications required.
- Driver's license required to verify distance from the facility.
- Prohibition of artificial nails in patient care areas.
