TRAVEL ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description:

MUST HAVE LICENSE IN HAND PRIOR TO SUBMISSION. MUST BE ABLE TO START 8/3 OR LATER.

Responsibilities:

Manage patient care for mixed medical and surgical ICU population.
Perform procedures such as pericardialcentesis, thoracentesis, central line, and arterial line insertion.
Handle equipment including IV pumps, telemetry monitors, and ventilators.

Requirements:

Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
Experience with critical drips, vents, and prior ICU experience.
Proficiency in telemetry and ideally PCU or greater.

Unit was traveler friendly, staff was very nice and welcoming, felt supported, nice area of the country for exploring

Nurses do all their own vitals (not sure how that’s even possible on dayshift), limited resources, morale was low due to recent buyout by HCA
