Job Description:

The Registered Nurse Emergency Room (ER) role involves providing direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. The RN will be responsible for managing the care of patients experiencing a medical crisis requiring immediate and effective intervention.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care effectively and efficiently in the Emergency Room.
Coordinate with Physicians and other Non-Physicians for quality patient care.
Perform triage quickly and accurately according to established guidelines.

Requirements:

3-5 years of ER experience required.
Illinois RN License, BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, TNCC, NIHSS, ECRN Region 9 certifications mandatory.
