Job Title

RN (Registered Nurse), CVOR

City/State: Colorado Springs, Colorado

Shift: 12H Days 630a-7p; Call policy: one weekday per week; one weekend per month (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Start Date: 07/13/2026

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced RN for the CVOR unit to perform primarily open heart and endovascular procedures. The role involves coordinating with the unit manager and participating in the care team to ensure efficient operations within the operating suite.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform open heart and endovascular surgical procedures.
  • Scrub into cases to assist in holding the heart and closing the chest.
  • Provide care in the CVOR and General OR as needed.
  • Participate in rotating call schedule during weekdays and weekends.

Requirements:

  • Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
  • Experience with open heart and/or endovascular procedures.
  • Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes; call room available.
  • Proficiency with EPIC charting system.
