Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in Medical/Surgical is responsible for caring for patients with neuro conditions including stroke, neurosurgical, and seizure cases. The role includes managing a nurse/patient ratio of 1/5 or 1/6.

Responsibilities:

Provide care for neuro patient populations including stroke and neurosurgical (Spine, cranial, and ENT) patients.
Float as needed to other MS units.
Work every other weekend and holidays as needed.

Requirements:

Experience with EPIC Charting and 2+ years in Med/Surg; Neuro preferred.
Active IL License, BLS, and NIHSS certification.
Submit an updated resume, completed skills checklist within 12 months, and one reference completed within 12 months.
