Job Description:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Labor and Delivery for a 12-week contract in Fort Morgan, Colorado. The nurse will primarily work night shifts in a rural hospital setting, handling a variety of responsibilities related to maternal and newborn care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for pregnant women and newborns in a rural hospital setting.
• Function as the triage nurse and transition nurse, including acting as the baby catcher during deliveries.
• Administer and titrate Pitocin drips as needed.
• Participate in helping hands to medical-surgical unit as required.

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery with LDRP training.
• Certification in BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring.
• Ability to read and manage own electronic fetal monitoring strips.
