Job Description:
The Registered Nurse for Interventional Radiology will assist the Interventional Radiologist with imaging invasive procedures. Responsibilities include coordinating the IR MD schedule, working with floor RNs and Imaging techs, assisting with sedations, pacers, and placing PIV. Experience in radiology-related procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, and drainage is necessary. Both inpatient and outpatient cases are handled; pediatrics cases may occur.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Interventional Radiologist with imaging invasive procedures
- Coordinate IR MD schedule
- Work with floor RN's regarding patients
- Work with Imaging techs regarding procedures
- Assist with sedations, pacers, place PIV
Requirements:
- PALS, ACLS, BLS Certification
- Experience in Interventional Radiology preferred
- License to submit
