Job Description:
The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients ranging from neonates to adults in various settings including ER, inpatient, and some outpatient areas. The role requires performing ABGs, EKGs, and all respiratory therapy duties independently, including the use of equipment such as PB980, Hamilton C1, and V60 Bipap. The therapist will work 12-hour rotating shifts from days to nights, and will be required to work every third weekend and holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Perform ABGs, EKGs, and all required respiratory therapy duties
- Provide care to patients across all age ranges
- Work in ER, inpatient, and some outpatient settings
- Operate and manage respiratory equipment including PB980, Hamilton C1, and V60 Bipap
Requirements:
- ND Resp Therapy License required at time of submission
- Certifications: CRT or RRT (preferred), BLS, ACLS
- Preferred Certifications: PALS, NRP
- At least 1 year of experience required
