Job Description:

The RN in Labor/Delivery will provide care for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients in a 12-bed LDRP unit with the capability to handle C-Sections. The RN is responsible for adhering to AWHONN guidelines and must be able to triage, circulate, and recover C-sections while being flexible with scheduling and floating if needed for extreme cases.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care for labor, delivery, and postpartum patients.
• Manage triage and circulate/recover C-section patients.
• Collaborate flexibly with the scheduling and respond to low census requirements.
• Participate in occasional care for overflow mastectomy patients.

Requirements:

• Must have 1 year of LDRP experience within the last 3 years.
• BLS, AWHONN intermediate or advanced OR C-EFM, NRP certifications required.
• Comfortable with antepartum, intrapartum, and post-partum care.
• Experience with triage and C-section circulation/recovery.
• Preferred experience in travel nursing.
