RN (Registered Nurse) - ICU
City/State: Kearney, Nebraska
Shift: 12 hr days, 07:00:00-19:00:00
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Start Date: 07/06/2026
Job Description:
Registered Nurses needed for ICU department to provide critical care to patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medication, and collaborating with healthcare teams.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and titrate medications and drips, including cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation.
- Provide care for patients with common diagnoses such as trauma, cardiac issues, and respiratory distress.
- Utilize and troubleshoot respiratory therapy equipment from nasal cannula to ventilators.
- Interpret and document cardiac monitor strips.
- Float to other units such as PCU and MedSurg as required.
Requirements:
- Active RN license.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
- Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required.
