Job Description:
RAPID RESPONSE - RN TELE/M/S - DEPT 633 provides medical care and rapid response for patients in the Intermediate Care unit.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care for telemetry and general medical/surgical patients.
- Manage patient assignments with a 1:6 ratio, adjusting to 1:4 for Heart Cath patients.
- Utilize PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes within patient care protocols.
- Participate in Heart Cath recovery and bubble studies.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Telemetry experience.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Preferred prior Meditech experience and NIH skills.
