Job Description:

As a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, you will provide specialized nursing care for high acuity neonates, including those born at 24 weeks gestation and up, some on respiratory support and some requiring surgical interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for neonates with high acuity, including micro preemies and grower feeder infants.
• Ensure proper support for neonates on respiratory support and manage post-surgical care needs.
• Maintain accurate records using Epic charting system.
• Work every other weekend and as needed on holidays.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as NICU RN, particularly in Level III-Lev 4 settings.
• Experience with 44 weeks gestation micro preemies and high acuity cases.
• Current IL RN License, CPR, and NRP certification required.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system and Level III High Acuity NICU operations.
