Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our Operating Room team in a high-demand environment. The individual must be experienced and capable of handling advanced surgical technology and procedures within a Level I trauma facility.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel.
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery and maintain a sterile environment.
- Will float to all ORs and support surgical teams as necessary.
- Participate in on-call duties as required, up to 6 shifts per 13 weeks.
Requirements:
- NBSTSA CST certification or 3 years of surgical technologist experience in lieu of certification.
- 1 year of experience as CST or 3 years of experience as ST, including experience with Level I trauma cases, DaVinci robot, and various specialized procedures.
- Valid AHA BLS certification.
- Ability to work holidays if they fall on scheduled days.
