TRAVEL - RN CVICU

Job Description:
Registered Nurse needed for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) with responsibilities including primary patient care for fresh cardiac surgery patients in a high-acuity setting.
Responsibilities:
- Direct primary recovery care for fresh cardiac surgery patients
- Adherence to patient care ratios: 1:1 immediate post-surgical, 1:2 POD 1-3
- Documentation using Meditech Expanse system
- Provide care during scheduled 36-hour weeks, including 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks
- Participate in floating policy as needed, maintaining patient care ratios
Requirements:
- 1-2 years experience with fresh cardiac surgery patients
- Advanced skills in ACLS, Balloon pump, Impella training, and Hemodynamics
- ACLS Certification
- Proficiency in using Meditech Expanse documentation system
