Shift: 12H Nights, 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks, holidays based on unit coverage, 19:00:00-07:00:00

Contract Length: 56 weeks

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the NICU (Level 4) will provide care for infants with various conditions including prematurity, cardiac defects, genetic disorders, surgical interventions, ECMO, and cooling treatments. The NICU features 71 beds, including 17 step-down beds. Nurses are expected to maintain proficiency in Foley catheter insertion, central line dressing changes, and sterile field techniques. A key part of the role includes collaboration with neonatologists and midlevel providers available 24/7.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to NICU patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records using the Cerner EMR system.

Requirements:

  • MUST HAVE 2 YEARS OF LEVEL 4 EXPERIENCE, will screen busy Level 3
  • Certifications: BLS, NRP, Cardiac STABLE plus
  • Previous travel experience preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of NICU nursing experience required
