Job Description:

This role involves providing nursing care in the Med Surg/Ortho unit, monitoring patients, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Care for patients with total knee, hip, ankle, and shoulder replacements, as well as spine procedures.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and techs in managing patient assignments and care duties.
• Participate in a self-scheduling process with a cyclic rotation.
• Float to MedSurg, rehab, or PCU if needed, maintaining MedSurg acuity.

Requirements:

• Must hold an active RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• Pass an open-book exam on skills learned during orientation with at least 90%.
• Adherence to the facility's fingernail policy and availability within 30 minutes when called back in.
