Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit is responsible for delivering high-quality care for critically ill patients, with a specific focus on Neuro and Stroke cases. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in EPIC Charting and exhibit flexibility in floating to other units or facilities as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
• Assess and manage Neuro and Stroke patients, maintaining a 1:2 ratio, sometimes 1:3.

Requirements:

• Current IL License, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certification.
• 2+ years of strong ICU experience with a passed EKG test of 80% or higher.
