Job Description:
The Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for providing perioperative care to patients undergoing cardiac surgery. The role requires expertise in scrub and circulate duties in a level 1 trauma center.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care in the CVOR, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
- Assist in scrub and circulating duties for cardiac surgeries.
- Float to Bell OR, Cambridge OR, and SPD as needed.
- Participate in weekend rotations and on-call duties, including some holidays.
Requirements:
- 2 years of CVOR experience in a level 1 trauma center.
- Strong scrub experience on cardiac surgeries.
- Active KS RN License and BLS certification.
- Must be nicotine free and comply with facility policies.
