TRAVEL - NICU Respiratory Therapist

Job Description:
The NICU Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing critical care management for adult vent patients, including vent weaning, trach care, and airway management for all patient populations.
Responsibilities:
- Critical care management for adult vent patients
- Experience with vent weaning guidelines
- Trach care management
- Emergency and standard airway care for all patient populations
- EKG procedure
- Blood gas analysis and technique to draw ABG sample
- RT Medication administration
- RT plan of care, assessment, and progress evaluation
- Oxygen therapy
- Code Blue, Trauma, STEMI response
- Documentation and charge for therapy provided
- Physician communication
- Safety standards and checklist completion
- Infection prevention standards
Requirements:
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications
- TX state license
- NBRC RRT certification
- NICU experience preferred
