Job Title
PT (Physical Therapist), Rehab, PT
City/State: Sacramento, California
Shift: 8hr Days; 0800 + 2 weekend shifts a month, First to Float
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: 07/21/2026
Job Description:
Mainly working in a skilled nursing facility with the ability to float to an inpatient acute care hospital. Candidates will treat 8-9 post-acute patients per day with common diagnoses including total joint replacements, stroke, deconditioning, pneumonia, and balance difficulties. Work involves geriatric patients with chronic conditions, ortho, and neuro patients.
Responsibilities:
- Able to work independently and perform transfers
- Work closely with the Interdisciplinary team
Requirements:
- CA PT license
- AHA BLS certification
- Excellent communication skills
- Two supervisory references from the modality submitting to (one within 12 months and one within three years)
- Copy of the driver's license needed to validate legal name
- Candidates may not have been directly employed by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past year
