Job Description:

Work where others vacation in beautiful Salida, CO, as an RN in the Med/Surg unit. This role requires a commitment to providing high standards of evidence-based patient care and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:

• Directly provides acute care and swing bed patient care as a team member at the highest standards of evidence-based practice
• Evaluating health status through the collection and assessment of health data
• Provide health teaching and health counseling
• Provide therapy and treatment that is supportive and restorative to life and well-being either directly to the patient or indirectly through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others
• Execute delegated medical functions
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
• Correctly, accurately, and timely documentation in the medical record all assessment, interventions, teaching, and care coordination efforts of patient care
• Collaborates with ancillary departments and physician providers to address the medical, social, and spiritual needs of the patient in a culturally and age-appropriate manner

Requirements:

• Minimum of an Associate's Degree (ADN) from an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred
• One year experience is required
• Must maintain current, active license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado
• Must maintain current BLS
• ACLS and PALS preferred
