Job Description:

Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room and Medical-Surgical Swing Unit responsible for patient care in both settings, focusing on either acute or swing bed assignments with expected ratios of 1:4 for acute care and 1:6 for swing beds. Includes possible float to ED holds.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care, assessing needs and implementing care plans
Titrate medication drips as necessary
Operate and monitor RT equipment, including NEBS and O2
Float to different units as needed and fulfill charge nurse duties

Requirements:

Current certification in BLS and ACLS
Minimum one year of Medical-Surgical experience
Ability to read telemetry strips as needed
