Job Description:

The ICU Registered Nurse is responsible for managing the care of adult patients experiencing life-threatening problems requiring complex assessments, high-intensity therapies, and interventions. The role involves floating to sister facilities as needed and requires night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medication, manage drips, and provide continuous assessment and care for critical patients.
• Interpret telemetry readings and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Document patient care in the Cerner Charting System and ensure compliance with high standards of NOKIA certifications.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of recent ICU experience, including either neuro or CV specialty.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Dysrhythmia Exam required 24-48 hours prior to acceptance; 2 maximum attempts allowed.
• Pass/fail Sim Lab on the first day of orientation.
