Job Description:

The Certified Surgical Tech is responsible for assisting during surgical procedures under the supervision of surgeons and surgical staff within the operating room. The role requires expertise in various surgical techniques, with extensive experience in orthopedic and robotics surgeries.

Responsibilities:

• Assist during surgical procedures in general, hand, foot/ankle surgeries, sports medicine, total joint-robotics, and spine ortho.
• Ensure the sterile environment of the operating room before and during procedures.
• Set up surgical instruments and equipment for operations involving robotics systems such as Mako, Rosa, and Cori.
• Be available for on-call duties and respond to call-backs within a 2-hour window.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience as a CST or Surgical Tech, specifically in complex spine surgeries including pedicle screws and ACDFs.
• Possession of NBSTSA certification, though not mandatory, and BLS certification.
• Ability to reach the hospital within 30 minutes for on-call duties.
