Surgical Tech, Allied, Cardiovascular Technologist (CVOR Tech)
City/State: Colorado Springs, Colorado
Shift: 10H Days 630a-5p with call: One weekday per week, One weekend per month (Fri-Sun) and possible float
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: 09/14/2026
Job Description:
The CVOR Tech is responsible for assisting with surgical procedures in the cardiovascular operating room, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are prepared and in place.
Responsibilities:
- Assist during open heart, vascular, thoracic, and other surgical procedures.
- Maintain a sterile environment and ensure all equipment is functional.
- Prepare the surgical suite with required instruments and materials.
- Float to General OR as necessary and respond to call within 30 minutes.
Requirements:
- CO Dora, BLS, CST certifications.
- Experience with open heart and endovascular procedures.
- Able to self-schedule and work block scheduling.
- Available for call one weekday per week and one weekend per month.
