Job Title
CT/X-Ray Tech
City/State: Aberdeen, Washington
Shift: Varying days Monday to Friday, 1300-2330, 10 hour shift, 40 hours a week
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: 07/20/2026
Job Description:
The CT Technologist, under the direction of the Radiology Manager and the Radiologist, performs computerized Tomography procedures including procedures of an invasive nature. The CT Technologist positions and instructs the patient, operates various pieces of specialized equipment and determines the technical factors for exposure. They must insure correct marking/labeling of all films and consistently provide safe, quality patient care. The CT Technologist also must take call.
Responsibilities:
- Perform computerized Tomography procedures
- Position and instruct patients
- Operate specialized equipment
- Determine technical factors for exposure
Requirements:
- Graduate of approved AMA school of Radiology and be a registered ARRT
- Possess knowledge in cross-sectional anatomy
- Possession of two years diagnostic experience desirable
- Moderate to heavy physical effort required, including the ability to lift 40 pounds
- Requires good stamina, flexibility, and manual dexterity
- Requires computer skills
- Demonstrates accurate judgment/decision making ability consistent with radiology knowledge and skills
